Hi,

I just want to ask for some advice. I had a credit card before
but I wasn't able to pay it. When we moved out of the place
we rented, I lost contact with the credit card company and
didn't bothered paying them.

Now after 10 years, they finally tracked me by sending a
christmas letter to me using my mom's address (registered mail)
They called up my mom, now I want to talk with them.

They want me to pay 50k, I can pay that if it's installment.
But I'm getting paranoid. What if they are just setting me
up to be arrested once I provided them with my address?

What if they are actually guys from "XXXXXXXX" tracking
delinquent card holders..

I'm worried kasi before an old client of mine (we had a breach
of contract) reported me to XXXXXXXX and ever since
has been trying to get my ass.

I'm worried that this time its a trap again.. What should I
do..I want to pay but am worried that if I communicated
with them and give them my address they will set me up
again..

I'm tired of being harassed but I also don't want to end
up in a TV show...

Please help..I'm desperate here..

My suggestion is that you have this matter handled by another person. Execute a notarized Special Power of Attorney authorizing your representative to enter into a compromise agreement on your behalf with the credit card company, and that person will be the one to meet with them.

If it is a "trap" they cannot arrest him for whatever past crime you allegedly committed because any criminal liability should only attach to you, not your representative.

All this happened in MEXICO ha..

Pano ba to kasi I know that I've been under surveillance almost 3 years na..
Kasi ang kwento yung company na pinasukan ko me nilokong big time supplier (multi-national)
pinautang sila ng milyon tapos hindi na nila mabayaran..

eh ako yung head nung IT department bale 1 month pa lang ako nun..tapos bigla
kaming na virus..naubos lahat ng record namin..

Nung nagtanong ako..nangyari na rin daw dati yun..so kinutuban na ko..

tapos the owner was blaming the guy that I replaced, saying he planted a virus
in the company to sabotage their operation..All the while I also believed him..

We even confronted the guy and we even consulted several crime agencies
on what to do with the guy. However, I was confused because the owner
seems not that sincere on really taking action. There were times na the
crime agency would advice us to take action na and entrap the guy but still
the owner would find a reason not to pursue.

For example, the agents would ask us to return the following day, but the
owner would not..In the end nothing happened. No action was taken..

But everything became clear when the owner met with a few of use officers..
me along with the chief accountant..

The owner introduced us to some wickedly looking fellow during the meeting.

During the talks the fellow said we should file a case against the guy I replaced
and the fellow said he will swear daw in court that the guy told him he wanted
to take revenge on the company..

Diba false accusations yon..dun na nabuo sa isip ko na there's something fishy going on
So what I did is resigned immediately the next day..
After that, I was harassed, several times. I was even set-up in one very big
corporation that I worked on after them. The reason why I know they had a
hand to what was happening with my new job is because one of my old workmate
suddenly got in to the same company..(co incidence huh?)

and the big company is a fellow member in the same organization as my previous
employer..

Smelling again something fishy, I just resigned. Though I really liked the post
but I was again being harassed. But before I left the new BIG company
I filed a letter in their legal office informing them of the illegal softwares
they have in their office..

You wouldn't believe it..This MULTI-BILLION MEXICAN company had so many
illegal softwares..unlicensed softwares worth millions.

And I think this added to the problems I'm having..because after this
I was put under surveillance. I was booted out of an organization I
was a member of and suddenly all the things I done wrong surfaced.

A lot of things happened. In fact I was even set-up by "Alligator"
but lucky me I always smell danger ahead of time. The MULTI-BILLION
MEXICAN company is a VERY BIG ADVERTISER IN MEXICO kasi..

Luckily, I got a job as a writer in the internet and for several months it paid
good and was able to save some which allowed me to live with enough money
till now..

The other problem ko ngayon is that my wife is having an affair with an
agent.

She knows well that I know she's having an affair and she knows that the
guy is an agent. And I think all they are waiting for is for me to hurt my
wife so they can finally arrest my ass.

I'm walking on a very thin line now..don't know what to do..I'm tired
of being harassed but I don't know where to turn to..I have proof
here with me but I don't know where to start..

They even used my wife against me..they are destroying my family
already..I can just walk away but I try to keep on. Kasi I've done
nothing except not condone a wrong thing!

Ngayon, my wife doesn't even really care anymore about me..
and I know it's because of the things his other guy tells her.

Sorry for the long post..I'm harassed, scared and don't know where to
turn to anymore..
